Hi there folks, I went and joined this community because I love this map, it is awesome. Incredibly difficult later on, but fun. My girlfriend and I play as the Lightning Archer and the Warden respectively... she decimates the horde while I focus on boss-slaying.
We were doing fine, with some slight difficult times with a few of the bosses (the Bandit Lord comes to mind...) and we managed to get all the way to the Dark Demon. After a couple of deaths we felled the great beast, but then he got back up... Then we killed him again... and he got back up again... We'd been able to distract him just barely by my clones and my putting the horde between him and myself, but by the second time he got back up he was standing next to our Tree of Light.... and thus focused entirely on it and I could not DPS him down quick enough.
So my question to the forum is this... How many times does the scary beast get back up... ya know, the big rock golem Dark Demon... Any help would be appreciated as I'm sure many of you have beaten this map.
For some small information, we play on Very Slow waves (so we can actually buy stuff without being hopelessly overwhelmed) and on Normal difficulty. Hope that helps.
